Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TripTiger travel-planning app and website ("TripTiger", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using TripTiger, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use TripTiger. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google, with Apple, or with a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. The service

TripTiger helps you plan trips, discover places, and collaborate privately with people you invite. We may add, change or remove features over time. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

4. Subscriptions, billing & refunds

• TripTiger offers an optional paid plan ("Pro") on a monthly or annual basis.
• Purchases are made through and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not process or store your payment details.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. We may, at our discretion, grant complimentary access or assist with a refund request, but we cannot guarantee one.
• If a payment is refunded or charged back, the corresponding paid features may be revoked.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data;
• interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the service;
• upload malicious code, or abuse the invite/collaboration features (e.g. spam);
• infringe the rights of others.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the trip content you create. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content as necessary to operate the service for you and the collaborators you invite. TripTiger does not offer public trip publishing — sharing is private and invite-only.

7. Third-party services

TripTiger relies on third parties including Google (maps, places, sign-in), Apple, and the app stores. Your use of those features may also be subject to the relevant third party's terms.

8. Disclaimers

Travel information, places and suggestions are provided for planning convenience only and may be inaccurate or out of date — always verify details (opening hours, prices, routes, entry requirements) before you travel. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripTiger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using TripTiger and delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.

11. Governing law & changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of TripTiger is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. We will update the "Last updated" date for any changes.
